With the experience and expertise of an internationally operating beverage company, we also offer our know-how to customers in the contract filling and private label segment – all with the highest product and service quality „Made in Germany“.

Our quality standards

Controlled quality for uncompromising standards

Brewing the natural product beer is our passion and the quality of our raw materials is our top priority.

We only use regionally-grown hops and malt from cultivating areas that are regularly examined and controlled, in order to guarantee our premium quality. Our soft brewing water is our most important ingredient, which is why we source it already for decades from our own spring.

We’re continuously inspecting our product quality all along the production chain, from raw materials to finished products. Our laboratories process more than 3.000 samples and perform 12.000 analyses every day. Our superior quality standard is confirmed annually by external audits and official certifications.

  • The production site in Paderborn has its own wind power plant and covers 40% of its energy needs.

  • Right after the release of DIN EN ISO standard 50001 at the end of 2011, our energy management was certified in 2012.

  • We’re supplying our agriculture with high-quality feed coming from valuable by-products such as brewer's grains and excess yeast.

  • We pay attention to high recyclability with all our packaging material. 80% of our bottles are recyclable and can be reused for up to 50 times.
  • For us, social responsibility starts with the relationship towards our suppliers. We value long-term partnerships and regularly assess risks according to the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act, in order to guarantee the social and ecological standards within our entire supply chain.

  • Our production site in Warstein is verified according to SMETA and therefore fulfils the standards for employees and suppliers in the areas of labour standards, health and security, environmental assessment and work ethic.
  • Seit 2005 hat die Warsteiner Brauerei einen eigenen Gleisanschluss in Betrieb genommen. Der Frachttransport auf der Schiene bietet eine nachhaltige Reduzierung von Emissionen in der Wertschöpfungskette.

  • Der Standort Paderborn verfügt über eine eigene Windkraftanlage und deckt so 40% seines Energiestrombedarfs.

  • Bereits 2012 wurde unser Energiemanagementsystem nach der (erst 2011 veröffentlichten) DIN EN ISO-Norm 50001:2018 erfolgreich zertifiziert.

  • Wertvolle Nebenprodukte aus der Produktion, wie Treber oder überschüssige Hefe, liefern wir als hochwertige Futtermittel an die Landwirtschaft.

  • Bei all unseren Verpackungsmaterialien achten wir auf eine hohe Wiederverwendbarkeit. Unser Flaschen-Pool besteht somit zu 80% aus Mehrwegflaschen, welche bis zu 50-Mal wiederbefüllbar sind.

  • Soziale Verantwortung startet bei uns in der Beziehung zu unseren Lieferanten. Wir führen langfristige Partnerschaften und führen regelmäßig Risikoanalysen gemäß dem Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz durch, zur Sicherstellung sozialer und ökologischer Standards in der gesamten Supply-Chain.

  • Unser Warsteiner-Standort ist SMETA-verifiziert und erfüllt so die Anforderungen für Mitarbeitende und Lieferanten in den Bereichen Arbeitsstandard, Gesundheit und Sicherheit, sowie Umweltprüfung und Geschäftsethik.
